The first time I put on a pair of glasses I was 6 years old; and what a game changer that was! I was now able to see what my teacher wrote on the blackboard without a problem, blurry curvy lines turned into well-defined straight lines, and colors became more vibrant and vivid. My vision was now pristine.
It almost felt like I had entered a new dimension. My outlook on life had completely shifted.
As I’ve grown older, I’ve come to rely on and appreciate my glasses much more. With them, not only does the outer world seem clearer, but more beautiful as well.
Because of our sinful condition; you could say that we suffer from spiritual myopia, astigmatism, and even colorblindness. Stuck between time and space, we’ve become prisoners to a dimension not meant for us; and our vision is badly distorted.
<<Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.>>
Jesus is coming soon and the veil of darkness and confusion that hangs over this world and the human race will be lifted for eternity.
I don’t know about you, but the thought of leaving a sin-ridden dimension behind and entering a sinless one excites me beyond measure! We will then be able to understand the mysteries of life and the in and outs of the universe! We’ll study the essence of Love for the rest of eternity with a new, clear perspective, no distortions whatsoever! Best part? Won’t be needing any glasses!
<<I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.>>
One day you and I will have physical and spiritual 20/20 vision. Doesn’t that make you excited?
