We say that God is good, all the time. However, when God

doesn’t answer our prayer, is God still good?

What about when things don’t go as we plan,

is God still good?

Or when we get diagnosed with a terrible disease,

is God still good?

We may not think He is good, however let me tell you God is still good.

He was, He is, and will always be the same God.

He is and will be good. No, He never changes.

It seems that when God doesn’t answer us, it becomes harder to pray,

harder to go to church, harder to read His Bible.

Some, even stop doing these things altogether.

Let me ask you, could it be that we worship God

because of the things He gives us, or do we praise Him

for who He is?

Sadly, many of us fall into this, (including myself).

This happens because we see God’s power at its greatest, and of course we praise Him.

But when we don’t see it; it becomes difficult, and we sometimes think He doesn’t care.

But if we really knew God, His essence, and Who he truly is, then, our love for Him wouldn’t change. Even when we don’t feel Him work.

That even through the most difficult moments, when God doesn’t seem to answer our prayers, may our hope remain in Him.

May our daily prayer be that we remain faithful to God like Job, even in the moments of trial. That our walk may be like Enoch, every day with God. Despite of where we are or who we are. The key is truly getting to know God.

I encourage you to develop a special connection with Him every single day. Despite of how things are going in your life.

Then, we will truly learn to praise Him, love Him, and be grateful to Him. Not for what He gives us but for who He is.
