A little Christmas to remember

When I was a little kid, about ten years old, my family and I went to spend Christmas and New Year at our country house. I was beyond excited. The place was magical, one of my favorite vacation spots. It had a little house on top of a hill with a checkboard design on the front, a well, a spring, mango, and avocado trees, and delightful weather. However, the best part about everything was that my whole family was together. My grandparents, my parents, my brothers, and my dogs, even my dogs!

We sang, told jokes, ate good food, and had a great time. It was the loveliest week! My favorite Christmas memory! I felt like I wasn’t missing anything in the world; I felt happy and complete, and all the people who were important to me were together in one place.

“Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them, nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water. ”And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Revelation 7:16

When we get to heaven, we will finally feel and be complete. We won’t miss or long for anything. I know that I can’t wait for that day to come. There will be no tears, only joy, and we will finally be with Jesus. He’s coming soon!

God sent His son to be born and to die on this earth so that you and I could have access to redemption and eternal life. Even though the date that Jesus was born is not specified in the Bible, it is important to take a moment to thank The Lord for His unconditional love for us, and for sending His son to rescue us from sin.
